Belgian Crown Prince Philippe and his delegation have witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements between Belgium’s Flanders region and Vietnamese partners.

The 12 documents were signed in HCM City on March 15 between businesses, universities and non-governmental organizations with a focus on education, aquaculture, international shipping and delivery, advertisement and marketing, product design, dredging, vegetable growing and bonsai, aiming to promote the friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Vietnam and Belgium.

On the occasion, Crow Prince Philippe and Chairman of the HCM City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan also witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Sai Gon Water Supply Corporation and Belgium’s Balteau Company.

Earlier, the Belgian Crown Prince attended the closing ceremony of a healthcare and food processing seminar, met with several Belgian citizens working in HCM City, worked with Can Tho University and provincial leaders of Lam Dong and Soc Trang, and joined the Beluxcham Awards ceremony hosted by the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.

At 8:55 pm on March 16, Belgian Crown Prince Philippe and his delegation will leave Tan Son Nhat airport, concluding their visit to Vietnam. Before that they will visit the Sai Gon Water Supply Corporation and the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park.
