Vice President Doan attended the third provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress and presented the Ho Chi Minh Order to Bac Giang province on October 3.

Speaking at the congress, Ms Doan said that the provincial leaders have paid due attention to emulation movements and strictly implemented the provincial Party’s resolutions as well as the Party, State and Fatherland Front’s major campaigns.

She urged the provincial leaders to continue to attach importance to the value and effects of emulation movements and to strengthen their inspection and supervision.

At the congress, the chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee launched a patriotic emulation movement in all fields of industry, trade, services, agriculture, health care, education, culture, society, security and defence to mobilise the strength of the whole political system to fulfill the 17^th provincial Party congress resolutions and socio-economic development plan for 201-2015.

Ms Doan presented the Ho Chi Minh Order to Bac Giang province, the Independence Order (First class and Third class) to two organisations and the Labour Order to 15 organisations and 27 individuals. The Government also presented an emulation flag to the province.

The congress also chose 10 outstanding people from Bac Giang to attend the 8^th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
