Participants discussed ASEAN’s role at the next G20 summit, noting that ASEAN had participated in the two previous G20 summits, with Vietnam representing the bloc in Toronto, Canada, in June 2010.

They agreed that ASEAN deserves to play a more active role in G20 as one of the most dynamic regions in the world.

In a closing speech, Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Xuan Ha praised the MSF’s contribution to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. He called the seminar an important milestone in co-operative relations between the two ministries.
