They reviewed the results of implementing the blueprints for building an ASEAN economic community in 2008-2009 and what needs to be done in the 2010-2011 period.

They also discussed challenges and opportunities for the building of an ASEAN economic community in 12 areas of cooperation as well as solutions to remove difficulties and hindrances on the way to achieving this goal.

The results of the meeting will be submitted to the 42^nd ASEAN Economic Ministers Meeting, the fourth ASEAN Economic Community Council Meeting and the 17^th ASEAN Summit for approval.
