Over the past four years, the central province of Nghe An has surveyed 94 of 115 locations for planting border markers and erected 73 of them.

This was part of the plan to increase the number of border markers between Vietnam and Laos in Nghe An province.

Nghe An established two teams to undertake the task, which was a difficult one because most of the new locations are in complicated terrain over 1,500m above sea level.
