President Truong Tan Sang said Angolan Vice President Fernando Dias Dos Santos’s visit to Vietnam will strengthen the traditional relations between the two countries and bring them to a new height.
Speaking at a reception in Hanoi on February 15, Mr Sang said Vietnam and the southwestern African country share certain similarities and long-established ties which will lay the groundwork for a breakthrough in their relationship in the future.
He said Vietnam is more than willing to share experiences in hunger reduction and agriculture development with Angola.
The Angolan Vice President said his visit is aimed at promoting traditional friendship and all-round cooperation with Vietnam, especially in agriculture, health care, education and oil and gas.
