Ambassador cares about Vietnamese nationals in Moscow

Vietnamese ambassador to Russia Pham Xuan Son on January 24 visited the Moscow World Trade Centre where thousands of Vietnamese people do business.

The ambassador inquired into the operation of the trade centre and businesses set up by Vietnamese nationals. He briefed the centre’s leadership on Vietnam’s policy for the Vietnamese community in Russia and asked them to create favourable conditions for Vietnamese traders to do business according to the local law.

Meeting with Vietnamese people there, the diplomat further elaborated on Party guidelines and State policies for overseas Vietnamese. He appreciated their contributions to activities organised by the embassy, as well as their assistance to the Vietnamese community in Russia and needy people in the homeland.  

Son expressed his hope that Vietnamese traders at the centre will uphold the tradition of unity and mutual assistance to build a strong Vietnamese community, contributing to developing the Vietnamese fatherland and strengthening the Vietnam-Russia relationship.

He also paid a lunar New Year visit to Hanoi-Moscow Culture and Trade Centre run by a Vietnamese company.
