Mm. Binh is on a friendship visit to Algeria from May 20-28 at the invitation of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

Both sides recalled the two nations’ solidarity and support to each other during their struggles for national independence.

They affirmed the need to boost bilateral cooperation, especially in economics and culture.

Earlier, Mm. Binh was received by Algerian Parliament President Abdelaziz Ziari. She also met with the Algeria-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Group and the Algeria-Vietnam Friendship Association and visited Vietnamese workers involved in the East-West Highway project.
