The Prime Minister on April 3 approved a project to build a solid waste treatment plant in the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai.

The project will receive a total investment capital of nearly US$5.5 million, of which more than US$4.9 million will be mobilised from the Official Development Assistance (ODA) loan granted by the Norwegian government. The remaining of the capital will be earmarked from the provincial budget in line with the State's Budget Law.
