Travellers touch the clouds in Ta Xua

(VOV) - If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to walk amongst the clouds, you should consider a jaunt to the Ta Xua Commune located in the Bac Yen District of Son La Province.

Son La is a north-western mountainous and the fifth largest province in Vietnam bordering Laos.

Moc Chau Plateau is the premiere travel destination in the region, best known for its spacious green tea fields.

The prison and museum of Son La built in 1908 on the Khau Ca Hills is the second most popular spot attracting travellers.

Tham Tet Toong Cave, a 150-metre-long cave with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites located in the Chieng An Commune of Son La City Town, is also a favourite spot.

Just 2 km from the centre of Son La City Town, the Tham Tet Toong Cave boasts a combination of green trees, emerald waters and stone pillars.

The best time to explore the cave is in the early morning hours.

The largest ethnic group indigenous to the province is the Thai while large numbers of the Xa, H'Mong, Dao, Muong, Kinh, Kh'Mu, and Tay also live there.
