Rehearsal of Dien Bien Phu victory parade
(VOV) - A rehearsal for the military parade to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory took place in Dien Bien City on May 5 with the participation of the army alongside military rites.
After parading around Dien Bien Stadium, the procession went out in to the streets and along a road named after legendary General Vo Nguyen Giap, receiving a warm welcome from the local people.
Vietnam will celebrate 60 years of the victory of the Dien Bien Phu battle on May 7.
