Record mass wedding honours Vietnamese culture

(VOV) -A collective wedding for 120 working-class couples from Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Can Tho was held in the southern city on December 12.

Each couple were provided with free flower arrangements, cakes, photo shoots, a video recording, make-up services and wedding outfits. They will then join a honeymoon trip and take part in a training course to improve their family skills.

This year’s ceremony was recognised by the Guinness Vietnam as the largest of its kind to be held in the country.

This is the fifth  time such a mass wedding has been organised by the HCM City Youth Workers Support Centre, which has provided the service for 340 working-class couples over recent years.
