Purchasing antiques in Hanoi Old Quarter

(VOV) -Hanoi’s renowned Old Quarter opens its Lunar New Year (Tet) Festival antique market once a year, selling items of interest from across the various stages of Vietnamese history.
The market regularly runs from the 20th to the 30th day of the 12th lunar month, stretching across the Old Quarter streets of Hang Ma, Hang Can, Hang Luoc, Hang Dong, and Hang Ruoi.
This year’s market featured approximately 20 stalls offering antiques from different Vietnamese regions and even certain imported goods.
The market’s buying and selling is believed to bring its participants good fortune in the new year.
