(VOV) -San Francisco based photographer Catherine Karnow grew up in Hong Kong in the 1960′s and is best known for her powerful and poignant photos of the everyday lives of people in Saigon in the early 1990s.
I was a young and innocent photographer when I arrived in Saigon in July of 1990, she once told a reporter and I am glad that my photos have captured “a certain truth about Saigon”.
