Ho Chi Minh submarine heading for Vietnam

(VOV) - Another Kilo-class submarine named HQ-183 Ho Chi Minh, is on its journey to Cam Ranh.

The submarine began leaving St Petersburg to Kaliningrad from January 17 to 24 on harsh weather conditions.

However, it overcomes a stretch of a 600 nautical mile journey without any difficulties with support of tug boats and an icebreaker.

Ho Chi Minh Submarine is led by a salvage tug and an icebreaker 704 under project MPSV07 Lifeguard Karev.

The submarine docked at Kaliningrad on January 24 where heavy lift vessel Rolldock Star carried it to Cam Ranh port.
