Hanoi opens walking streets in Old Quarter
(VOV) -The People’s Committee of Hoan Kiem district permanently launched six walking streets in the Old Quarter on October 3 as part of their first public campaign – calling for better and safer crossing facilities for people on foot.
They include Hang Buom, Ma May, Hang Giay, Luong Ngoc Quyen, Ta Hien, and Dao Duy Tu.
The walking streets aim to increase safety for everyone while also contributing to increased tourism and trade in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
