Duck catching at Bach Hao Pagoda Festival
(VOV) - A Duck catching contest made a big splash on opening day of the annual Bach Hao Pagoda Festival on the 6th day of the new Lunar New Year in the Thanh Ha district of Hai Duong province.
The rules were quite simple. To qualify for the duck catching, contestants first had to face off in rice cooking and boat racing contests. It ended when one of the top three teams caught a duck.
All in all it was a fun day for the visitors in attendance.
