Operation Smile Vietnam and the North American Major League Baseball organisation are co-hosting a baseball camp for Vietnamese children in Ho Chi Minh City from November 17-18.

During the two-day event, children under 12 play in the mornings and older children in the afternoons. Grown-up people are also encouraged to participate for free.

Major League Baseball, which has the highest level of play in North American professional baseball and is the governing body of the largest professional baseball association in the world, devotes a great deal of time, money and efforts to the growth of baseball in other countries.

This will be the first time the league’s professional coaches and players come to HCM City to run the event.
