Vietnamese rescue forces return to Hanoi after Myanmar earthquake recovery mission

VOV.VN - More than 100 officers from the Ministry of National Defence and Ministry of Public Security returned to Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, on April 8 evening after completing their rescue mission in earthquake-hit Myanmar.

They have also collaborated with local rescue teams to save 7 more victims.

The Vietnamese team worked under intense heat, and many of the buried bodies had already decomposed, affecting their health. During the mission, aftershocks continued to occur in Myanmar, posing ongoing risks to the rescue forces.
