Valuable materials, artefacts on show at national cultural exhibition

VOV.VN - An exhibition to celebrate the 2021 National Cultural Conference started in Hanoi on November 16 displaying various valuable materials and artefacts that shed light on the country’s development and international integration over the years.

The exhibition is co-organised by the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung states that the event aims to introduce Vietnam’s cultural development to visitors, and at the same time raise people’s awareness of culture’s role towards the country’s sustainable development.

On display are 320 photos and over 123 valuable artefacts which have been divided into six different areas.

The first area showcases a range of documents and items detailing Vietnamese culture before 1930.

The second area tells the story of late President Ho Chi Minh and his revolutionary life during his lifetime.

Items featured in the third area that attract plenty of visitors are on Party and State leaders and cultural development.

The fourth area is on Vietnamese culture during the struggle for national liberation and reunification from 1930 to 1975.

Overseas cultural exchanges are also depicted in images at the exhibition.

Preservation and promotion of national and global cultural heritage sites is introduced in the sixth area.

The exhibition at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts is scheduled to last until November 27. It is also available online via http://trienlamvhnt.vn between November 16 and December 31.
