VOV.VN - Typical dance performances of the Central Highlands were recently introduced to visitors in Ho Chi Minh City, providing both locals and tourists with an opportunity to learn more about the indigenous culture of the region.

Artists play the gong, which is a unique kind of musical instrument that is played by the ethnic people residing in the Central Highlands region. The gong performance has been recognized UNESCO as “Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity”.

The gong performance is part of a cultural programme running with the theme “Lang Biang legendary night”, which is held at Aeon Mall Tan Phu in Ho Chi Minh City.
