National Radio Festival 2022 honours best broadcasters, best works

VOV.VN - The Vietnam National Radio Festival 2022 was wrapped up in Ho Chi Minh City on August 6 evening, with more than 100 outstanding broadcasters and works honoured at the closing ceremony.

The closing ceremony is held at the Municipal Theatre of Ho Chi Minh City by the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Municipal Administration and the Voice of Ho Chi Minh City (VOH).

In his closing speech, VOV President Do Tien Sy, who is also head of the organizing board, declares the festival, the fifteenth of its kind, as a great success which leaves a deep impression on organisers, the jury and audiences.

The entries in the contest reflect various aspects of life, including the implementation of Party resolutions, the COVID-19 fight, post-pandemic recovery solutions, and anti-corruption, says the VOV president.

Nominees compete in six categories, namely reportage, editorials, talk shows, radio stories, audio plays, and live shows.

The organizing board of the festival announces a Special Prize, 28 Gold Prizes, 58 Silver Prizes, 71 Bronze Prizes and many other Consolation Prizes at the closing ceremony.

A live programme titled Between Life and Death by the Communication Department under the Ministry ò Public Security wins the festival’s Special Prize. This is the first time such a prize has been presented at the National Radio Festival.

The National Radio Festival is held every two years and the 16th iteration will be held in the north-central province of Thanh Hoa in 2024. In the photo, representatives of the Thanh Hoa leadership receives the flag to host the 2024 festival.
