The trip is part of the commitment of co-operation between the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology to implement a project on developing smart tourism in the Vietnamese market as sponsored by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

These are the first foreign visitors to the locality after Vietnam officially reopened its borders to international tourism on March 15, says Tran Huu Thuy Giang, director of Thua Thien-Hue’s Department of Tourism.
