In Hanoi, local authorities set off fireworks at six locations for local residents to watch.

At exactly 9:00 PM, by the West Lake area, as the countdown echoes, the first series of fireworks burst into the night sky.

Red, yellow, blue, and purple lights dazzle in succession, reflecting on the lake’s surface and creating a magical, sparkling scene.

Meanwhile, a high-altitude fireworks display takes place over the Hoan Kiem Lake area, the heart of Hanoi and Vietnam.

At Thong Nhat (Reunification) Park in the capital, the fireworks display attracts large crowds.

At the same time, at My Dinh National Stadium, the fireworks are launched simultaneously at 9:00 PM and last for 15 minutes.

“It’s been a long time since I last witnessed such a spectacular fireworks display. I feel truly proud as my whole family gathers under the brightly lit sky, reminiscing about the country’s National Day,” shares Linh, a resident from Ha Dong Ward.

“I feel as if the entire city is beating as one. Eighty years have passed, and the present-day generation is even more grateful to those who sacrificed so that we can enjoy these peaceful moments,” says a resident of the capital.

On the evening of September 2, at Thuy Van Square, Ho Chi Minh City, the night sky is illuminated by a dazzling fireworks display, creating an emotional moment on National Day.

The fireworks light up the night sky, creating a sparkling and beautiful scene along the Ho Chi Minh City coastline.

According to the organisers, this year Ho Chi Minh City has four fireworks sites, including three high-altitude locations at the Saigon River Tunnel entrance, the New Binh Duong City Centre, and Thuy Van Square.

On the evening of September 2 at Hue’s Ngo Mon Square, a special art programme is staged, accompanied by a high-altitude fireworks display with 1,000 shells illuminating the Hue Citadel.
