On the early morning of April 30, thousands of people flock to visit the Vietnam Military History Museum, which offers free admission to all visitors during the holiday period from April 30 to the end of May 4.

A system of giant projectors is used for the first-ever 3D mapping performance, The Story of Da Nang, which highlights the city's history and significant developments over the past 50 years.

Comprising three sections, the film traces the city's evolution from its ancient roots to its rise as a vibrant urban hub today.

The 3D mapping show features Panasonic's PT-RQ50K projector for the first time in Southeast Asia. This is the same model used in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games opening ceremony and Tokyo Night & Light 2024.

Additionally, a special exhibition themed "Bai Ca Thong Nhat" (Song of Reunification) has been opened at the Son La Prison Special National Relic Site as part of the activities to commemorate the special event.

The exhibition is divided into two sections: "Son La and the Great Spring 1975 Victory" and "The Country Is Full of Joy." It showcases documents, images, and artifacts, highlighting the contributions of local people to the southern battlefront.
