Three medium earthquakes on April 18 shook Guatemala, said officials.

The biggest quake, 5.8 magnitudes, occurred at 13:30 GMT at a depth of 15 kilometers in Guatemala territory near the Pacific Ocean. The second one measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale shook Guatemala at 13:30 GMT, with an epicenter depth of 57.9 kilometers, 50 kilometers southeast to Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico and the last one, measuring 5.4, struck Guatemala at 13:34 GMT.

There have been no reports of victims or material damages after the quakes.

Meanwhile, an earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale shook Mexico on April 18, the National Seismological Service (SSN) of Mexico informed.

The quake occured at 13:30 GMT, with the epicenter at a depth of 61 kilometers, 45 kilometers southwest to the Hidalgo city, Chiapas, in the south of Mexico, bordering Guatemala.
