Israeli F16 warplanes raided the northern Gaza Strip on September 10 but caused no damage or injuries, witnesses and paramedics said.

Israel's airstrike came hours after militants in Gaza fired a homemade rocket from the northern Gaza Strip into southern Israel, Israel Radio reported.

Meanwhile, the regular protests against Israel's West Bank wall turned into clashes between protesters and Israeli soldiers, a Medical sources in Ramallah said, a Palestinian was injured and dozens inhaled tear gas during the clashes in the West Bank,.

The weekly protests took place in the village of Bel'ein, west of Ramallah, where about 150 residents backed by activist from international solidarity movements joined the demonstration.

They chanted slogans against the separation wall that Israel built on the West Bank and then clashe with Israeli army forces, who fired rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse the protestors.

Israel said that it built the wall to prevent Palestinian infiltrators from entering Israel to carry out attacks against Israelis, while the Palestinians said that the wall was built on Palestinian property in the West Bank.
