Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on April 9 hailed the country's recent achievements in nuclear program.

In a lively televised ceremony held in Tehran marking Iran's annual National Nuclear Day, Ahmadinejad unveiled the first sample of the third generation of centrifuges.

The President said that Iran has full access to nuclear technology and will soon become an exporter of the technology, according to the official IRNA news agency.

"Today in the field of nuclear energy we have reached the point that no power can impede progress of Iranian nation and their full and peaceful use of the clean energy," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying.

Earlier on the day, head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi, who is also Iran's vice president, said that Iran has designed the third generation of centrifuges and they have passed mechanical tests.
