Vietnam startups in Laos on the rise
(VOV) - Laos is a booming country for young entrepreneurs and startups, said Ambassador Nguyen Manh Hung at a celebration in honour of Vietnam Entrepreneur Day (October 13) in Vientiane.
“The growing number of young, skilled Vietnamese talents operating businesses in Laos is redefining the traditional ties of friendship between the two nations and bringing prosperity to both nations,” said Hung.
Vietnam Business Association President Nguyen Duc Moc in turn said some 700 companies are currently operating in Laos in a wide variety of industries and he encouraged them to forge a strong business community. Moc called on businesses to seize every opportunity from the establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community to expand production, investment and advanced technology in Laos.
