VOV.VN - Dai Nam Group plans to invest around US$100 million in building a racecourse on 60-70ha in Binh Duong province, said Huynh Uy Dung, owner of Dai Nam Tourism Complex - Dai Nam Group.
Mr Dung said Dai Nam had found 297 standardbred horses for the races and collected all ancient vehicles across the country for transportation within the tourism complex.
The racecourse is expected to be put into operation in October, Mr Dung noted.
He hoped that the racecourse will host regional and international competitions in the future.
Dai Nam is willing to coordinate with Binh Duong province to train athletes for national and international competitions, he added.
Dai Nam is not the first racecourse in Vietnam.
In June, Phu Yen province granted an investment licence for Golden Turf Club Pty Ltd to build a racecourse with an investment of US$100 million on 134ha in An Phu village, Tuy Hoa City. The racecourse is scheduled to inaugurate in 2019.
An investment group from Australia has been allowed to open a racecourse in Binh Phuoc province while Lam Dong provincial People’s Committee licensed Madagui Company to build Thien Ma racecourse.
