Japanese group plans to build solar power plant in Binh Phuoc

VOV.VN - Asia Infonet INC, a subsidiary of the Japanese AIN Group, proposes building a solar power plant at Becamex industrial and urban complex in Binh Phuoc Province, according to a statement from the company's CEO Tsuyoshi Sai at a working session with provincial leaders on January 25.

Mr Sai said that the company conducted a survey of the province with the results indicating great potential for solar energy development. It plans to construct the plant at the Becamex complex on an area of 54ha with a capacity of 50MK.

The company is attentive to every procedure as they move forward with the project, carefully researching the legal procedures on connection to the national electricity grid and directly supplying electricity to customers at the complex.

The Secretary of Binh Phuoc provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Van Loi  said he appreciates and fully supports the Japanese group’s investment in this pioneer project, which is of great significance to the province .

The province pledged all optimal conditions for the granting of an investment license so that the project can come to fruition. Binh Phuc also hastily implement the necessary procedures to submit the project for approval from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Loi said.
