Construction begins on Vinhomes Riverside Haiphong
VOV.VN - Demolition work is underway, preparing the site for the first luxury complex urban area in Haiphong City, according to a March 4 announcement by Vingroup, the nation’s biggest real estate developer.
“We’ve closed on all the financing for the project,” Vingroup said and the plans and specification by the US architectural firm of Humphrey & Partners have been finalized and submitted to the engineers.
"We soon will be digging our foundations," the company said. "We expect to hold a formal ground-breaking ceremony later this year."
The construction in Thuong Ly Ward, Hong Bang District spans an area of 78.5ha. Its two sides are adjacent to Cua Cam and Thuong Ly rivers.

The project consists of high-end riverside condominiums and villas designed in romantic neoclassic style, a mixed-used functional complex including exclusive offices, a shopping mall, giant recreation area, topped off with first rate restaurants and food court.
It is scheduled for completion in 2020, helping to create more jobs for local labourers and push the economic development of Haiphong City.
Having high end urban residential options should make Haiphong more attractive to a young, educated workforce— and the companies that want to attract that type of talent, said Vingroup.
