An exhibition to showcase Indian garment and textile products will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on August 30-31.

The two-day event will attract 21 Indian leading garment and textile companies, providing opportunities for Indian businesses to do business with Vietnamese partners.
The exhibition will be co-organised by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City and the Indian Synthetic and Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council.

As one of the world leading countries in synthetic textile products, India has exported many kinds of cloth, fabric, silk and clothes to Vietnam.
Indian textile export revenue to Vietnam between 2005-2006 increased to US$8.6 million as compared to US$7.3 million during the 2004-2005 period.
