The FUYO Foundation has awarded scholarships worth US$20,000 to 80 poor Vietnamese students at a ceremony in Hanoi on April 14.

The scholarships aim to encourage and support outstanding but poor students in their study at universities in Vietnam.

Established in 1997 by the FUYO Corporation of Japan, the FUYO Foundation has so far presented scholarships worth US$110,000 to nearly 600 Vietnamese students.
