The Scientific Library of HCM City on January 18 inaugurated a movable Internet library worth over US$84,500, sponsored by the Korean electronic group LG.

The library has eight computers connected on a local area network with CD-ROM and DVD players, printers and screens for projectors.

The library also has about 1,500 books, including many books for the visually impaired such as digital audio-books, Braille books, and books with bold illustrations, to serve young people and army units in remote areas.
