Six farmers in the Mekong City of Can Tho will spend one year studying cow breeding technology in Japan as part of a cooperation project signed by the Can Tho Farmers' Association and the Agriculture Experience Exchange Association of Japan's Kumamoto province.

Aged 20-30, the farmers with a senior secondary education were selected from experienced cow breeders in Co Do and Vinh Thanh districts of Can Tho.

They are learning Japanese to prepare for the class due to begin in March next year.
