VIIEF 2026 expands opportunities for Vietnam-China business connections
VOV.VN - The Vietnam International Import Export Fair (VIIEF) 2026 opened in Ho Chi Minh City on May 29, gathering more than 300 booths, helping to expand opportunities for business connections and supply chain cooperation between Vietnam and China.
On display are many new product lines in various sectors such as agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals and health care, manufacturing technology, technological equipment, building materials, furniture, and consumer goods, as well as solutions for import and export activities.
The event has attracted businesses from various regions of China such as Hunan, Hubei, Jilin, Guangxi, Henan, Jiangsu, and several other areas.
In the agricultural product and food segment, many businesses showcase processed products, including rice noodles, rice vermicelli, spices, cooking oil, convenient food, frozen food, snacks, biscuits, cakes, and products for modern distribution systems.
In addition, industrial manufacturing, technology and equipment solutions attracts considerable attention from business visitors. Exhibitors display various solutions such as educational robots, artificial intelligence, smart devices, automation systems, industrial robots, production lines, medical equipment, rehabilitation equipment, consumer electronics, and smart home appliances.
Several enterprises also introduce industrial support solutions including water and beverage processing systems, industrial adhesive products, specialised vehicles, auto parts, electrical cables and grain processing machinery. These product categories align closely with Vietnamese businesses’ growing demand for manufacturing equipment, production technologies and industrial support solutions.
In the construction, interior design, and materials sector, businesses introduce a wide range of products namely steel doors, decorative materials, and others.
Several businesses from Guangxi and Hunan showcase building materials solutions, custom interior design, and products for design and construction, seeking opportunities for distribution partnerships in the Vietnamese market.
VIIEF 2026 has also attracted strong participation from Vietnamese companies operating in manufacturing, trade, interior design, construction materials, consumer goods, agricultural products and import-export services. Domestic businesses introduce a diverse range of products, contributing to a two-way trade and supply chain connectivity platform between Vietnamese enterprises and international partners.
Beyond product exhibitions, organisers said VIIEF 2026 also serves as a venue for Vietnamese companies to directly engage with manufacturers, evaluate supply capabilities and discuss distribution conditions, private-label cooperation and market expansion opportunities in Vietnam.
Activities within the framework of VIIEF 2026 include business networking, product presentations, and direct meetings between businesses and distributors, trading units, import-export partners, and purchasing units. Simultaneously, numerous specialised forums will be organised to exchange trends in trade cooperation, production, technology, and supply chain connectivity.
The event runs until May 31, 2026, and is organised by Guangxi Century Jinping International Exhibition Service Group Co., Ltd in collaboration with Sky Expo Vietnam International Exhibition Centre and other related units.
