Vietnamese rice ST25 now on sale in the UK market
VOV.VN - A Vietnamese private business named Ho Quang Tri that specializes in rice, corn and other cereal grains, recently signed a contract with EUTEK Group Ltd of the UK to exclusively distribute the ST25 rice in the UK market.
The ST25 rice which was crossbred by engineer Ho Quang Cua has been recognized as the best rice in the world.
The first shipment of Mr. Cua’s rice has arrived in the UK and has received positive feedback from the Asian community.
Nguyen Hai Nam, EUTEK Group’s business development manager, said the successful penetration of Mr Cua’s rice into the UK market demonstrates the Vietnamese rice’s rising position in the world market.
EUTEK Group is now focusing on marketing to distribute rice and other specialties from Vietnam in this market, said Nam.
Engineer Ho Quang Cua revealed that the Ho Quang Tri business has shipped two containers of Mr Cua’s ST25 rice to Australia. Some other importers are seeking to purchase the product from Vietnam.
Most recently, Vietnam’s ST25 rice has been used to process dishes on the menu of the Japanese Cabinet Office.
