Vietnamese exports to US hit US$85.1 billion in seven months
VOV.VN - Vietnam’s export turnover to the United States reached over US$85.1 billion in the first seven months of 2025, an increase of 28.1% compared to the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Notably, more than half of the value comes from high-tech products such as consumer electronics, smartphones, as well as garments and footwear, while the remainder comes from other products like furniture and agricultural goods.
Specifically, computers, electronic products, and components topped the export turnover, bringing in over US$22.2 billion, up 68.5% year on year. They were followed by machinery, equipment, tools, and spare parts (US$13.2 billion, up 19.2%); and textile and garment products (US$10.2 billion, up 15.3%).
Export items with particularly strong growth include toys, sports equipment, and parts (up 230.5%); electrical wires and cables (up 65.2%); glass and glass products (up 107.6%); and coffee (up 69%).
The US is currently Vietnam’s largest export market. Conversely, Vietnam is a major trading partner of the US and an important link in the supply chain of many goods for the American market.
Notably, among Vietnam’s exports to the US, agricultural products, seafood, furniture, and decorative items hold a particularly important position as they are strong product groups in Vietnam and meet substantial demand in the US market.
