Vietnam willing to facilitate Korean investment

(VOV) - Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has affirmed the Government’s commitment to creating favourable conditions for foreign businesses expansion of investment in Vietnam, specifically those from the Republic of Korea (RoK).

Hai made the commitment on June 8, at a reception welcoming visiting Korean Deputy Minister of Strategy and Finance, Choo Kyun Hoo in Hanoi.

During his visit,  Choo Kuyn Hoo attended the inauguration of the Vinh Thinh Bridge which was built with ODA funding from the Korean Government.

Hai expressed his pleasure at the fine development of the Vietnam-RoK strategic partnership in recent years, especially in the key areas of trade, investment, science, technology, culture, tourism and labour.

The Deputy PM thanked the RoK Government and people for providing ODA for this project which has contributed to boosting trade exchange and adding fresh impetus to Vietnam’s socio-economic development.

For his part, the Korean guest said his nation pledges to expand co-operation with Vietnam to foster the two countries' strategic partnership, adding that the Vinh Thinh bridge construction shows the Vietnam Government’s resolve to timely complete a major construction project and open it on schedule.
