Vietnam, US exchange views on bilateral economic-trade cooperation
VOV.VN - Newly accredited Vietnamese Ambassador to the United States Nguyen Quoc Dung met Deputy Trade Representative of the US Sarah Bianchi in Washington DC on February 23 to exchange views on cooperation between the two countries.
At the meeting, both Dung and Bianchi noted with satisfaction the positive development of the economic - trade ties between Vietnam and the US in recent times.
They discussed a number of areas of cooperation, as well as common interests in the Vietnam-US trade relationship. They underscored the importance of promoting economic and trade cooperation between the US and the region, including Vietnam.
Ambassador Dung hoped that the two sides would maintain goodwill cooperation and dialogue on pending issues.
Bianchi expected that she would to work closely with the Ambassador and the Embassy of Vietnam to foster economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
