The event is part of the 2008 national trade promotion programme, offering the opportunity for enterprises to introduce their key export items, seek out business partners, establish distribution channels, and promote the advantages of the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area (ACFTA).

To encourage Vietnamese enterprises and other visitors to the fair, the organising board will have Vietnam’s display stands at the front entrance to the fair.

The enterprises taking part are from all the country’s economic sectors which are established under the current laws. Each participating enterprise will receive financial support including 100 percent of the costs for fitting out their stands and 70 percent of the costs for distributing information about the country’s exports, said the Trade Promotion Department.
