Vietnam Social Security to hold dialogue with nearly 100 Japanese firms

VOV.VN - The Vietnam Social Security (VSS) is set to hold a dialogue with approximately 100 Japanese firms on October 11 in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

The VSS and Japanese enterprises from industrial clusters in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Dong Nai, and Binh Duong provinces, along with Ho Chi Minh City, will talk about the implementation of policies and laws relating to social insurance and health insurance.

The Vietnamese agency will provide information, hold exchanges with foreign firms, and seek to tackle issues they are currently facing.

The dialogue also aims to raise awareness and create a wider consensus and cohesion among Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) enterprises in their implementation of policies in the Vietnamese market.

Ensuring the rights of both Japanese and Vietnamese workers in FDI firms will be high on the agenda of the dialogue.

Delegates will also discuss the impact of new-generation free trade agreements (FTAs) on labour movement and social security policies for employees.
