Vietnam ships US$13.7 bln worth of goods to ASEAN

Vietnam exported nearly US$1.53 billion worth of goods to other countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in September.

The figure helps raise the country’s nine-month exports to these markets to US$13.72 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 11.1 percent.

Among ASEAN countries, Malaysia was the biggest trade partner of Vietnam, followed by Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia.

Last year, Vietnam’s exports to the regional markets topped US$17.08 billion, surging 25.7 percent over the previous year.
