Vietnam Post introduces "make in Vietnam" technology solutions to global market

VOV.VN - Vietnam Post has presented its "make in Vietnam" technology solutions to the global market at the Vietnam Digital Technology Forum in the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Japan in 2026.

Vietnam Post showed digital technology solutions in postal services and logistics while expanding cooperation opportunities with international enterprises in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, automation, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at the forum, which took place in early October 2026.

The event focused on discussing strategic technology fields such as the semiconductor industry, robotics, smart factories, physical AI, digital transformation, and human resource development. This was also a space for Vietnamese enterprises to introduce "make in Vietnam" digital solutions, aiming to connect capabilities, co-create, and expand markets between Vietnam, the RoK, and Japan.

At the two forums, Vietnam Post displayed and introduced products and technology solutions tied to postal and logistics operations. Five strategic solutions were introduced: AI-applied smart logistics networks; smart last-mile delivery using the PUDO 2.0 model; low-altitude economic co-creation using UAVs; AI-powered document and handwriting digitization; and AI-applied Chatbot-Callbot virtual assistants.

One of the development directions emphasized by Vietnam Post is the application of UAVs in logistics operations. Vietnam Post is currently piloting UAV applications in agriculture, healthcare, and cargo transport in areas with difficult transport conditions, while expanding cooperation potential with international partners in AI, robotics, autonomous technology, UTM, IoT, and related technology solutions.

Le Quoc Anh, a member of the Board of Members of Vietnam Post, presented a paper on the transition of the postal and logistics network toward automation, data integration, and smart logistics development at the Vietnam-Japan Digital Technology Forum 2026.

According to Vietnam Post’s orientation, technology cooperation must stem from specific operational problems and be verifiable. The parties can select a priority problem, determine the scope of technology and integration, deploy a proof-of-concept (PoC) program, measure with real-world data, and thereby evaluate the potential for expansion or commercialization.

This approach helps technology attach to practical needs, while allowing the parties to jointly research, test, and finalize solutions before deploying them on a large scale.
