Vietnam Pavilion makes strong debut at interior and handicraft fair in Paris
VOV.VN - The Vietnam Handicraft Exporters Association (VIETCRAFT) and the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of Ho Chi Minh City (ITPC), in partnership with the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV), inaugurated the Vietnam Pavilion at the Maison&Objet 2025 international interior and handicraft fair.

Running until September 8 at the Villepinte Exhibition Center on the outskirts of Paris, the event features more than 30 Vietnamese enterprises displaying a wide range of interior, exterior and handicraft products across 350 square meters. The national pavilion stands out with a contemporary design carrying the identities of “Vietnam Lifestyle” and “Ho Chi Minh Pavilion.”
Speaking at the opening, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang praised the strong and professional presence of Vietnamese businesses, calling it a new step in global integration as well as a “special gift” marking the 80th National Day.
From the French side, Adam Koulaksezian, Executive Director of CCIFV, stressed that Maison&Objet is a world-class trade fair in interior design and decoration.
He said the collaboration with Vietnamese partners goes beyond creating an attractive pavilion, serving as a bridge for Vietnamese enterprises to access the French and European markets. Echoing this view, Guillaume Prot, Director of Maison&Objet, showed elation at Vietnam’s continued participation in such a major international event. He emphasized growing interest from Asian businesses, particularly in Southeast Asia, in the European market, and voiced confidence that Vietnam’s presence will continue to expand, underscoring the country’s craftsmanship and quality.
From the business community, Pham Chan Quang, CEO of Tan Thanh Furniture and Vice President of the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA), noted that Maison&Objet provides a valuable opportunity for Vietnamese wood enterprises to both promote their products and enhance design capabilities.
Nguyen Van Duy, Sales Director of Landco Corporation, added that his company is presenting a collection titled “Taking off from the Roots”, designed entirely in-house, highlighting that Vietnamese firms are not only strong in production but also in creativity and innovation.
Established in 1995, Maison&Objet is Europe’s leading contemporary lifestyle trade fair. This year’s edition gathers over 3,000 exhibitors and 80,000 professional visitors from 155 countries, while also marking the fair’s 30th anniversary.
