The Vietnam AutoExpo 2008 was co-organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Planning and Investment and other units.

The 10,000sq.m exhibition is showcasing products of nearly 200 domestic and foreign countries, such as luxury cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, motorbikes, bicycles, and other special vehicles. Also on display are components and spare parts, motorbikes and other vehicles, casting, welding, plating and painting technologies, garage services, as well as banking insurance and consultant services.

There are more than 200 booths displaying automotive support products and services such as Casumina, Tia Sang battery, GS, FAG, Denso, Boss, Yaban Chain, 3M, Yokoham, Hanoi plastics, Tan Phat, Viet Han, Viet Duc soldering iron, Gotec lubricant, Pota ball-bearing and many other products from China.
