Vietnam attends international trade fair in Havana

(VOV) -Vietnam is participating in the ongoing 33rd Havana International Fair 2015 (FIHAV) in Havana from November 2-7 along with 4,500 foreign exhibitors from 60 countries and territories across the globe.
A Vietnam Day and a Cuba- Vietnam business conference are scheduled to take place on November 3 and 4, respectively as part of the event.
Consumer goods, machinery, equipment, raw materials and services are on show on a 20,000 m2 exhibiting area.
In a speech at the opening ceremony, Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca said this year’s event has witnessed the largest number of participants in the past 15 years, noting that this shows the international community’s interest in the Cuban market.
Cuba is enhancing its trade relations, principally in bio-technology and services, he affirmed.
Annually held since 1982,FIHAV is the most important trade exhibition in Cuba as well as the Caribbean region.
