Vietnam and Malaysia share experience in developing renewable energy
VOV.VN - Vietnam and Malaysia shared experience and discussed the possibility of cooperation in developing renewable energy projects during a working session in Hanoi on March 25 between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Embassy of Malaysia.

The meeting was also attended by representatives from Petronas, a Malaysia multinational national oil and gas company headquartered in Kuala Lumpur.
During discussions, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hoang Long briefed Malaysian Ambassador Dato’ Tan Yang Thai on Vietnam’s renewable energy development policy and expressed desires to increase cooperation with Malaysia in this fields.
The Malaysian Ambassador expressed deep interest in Vietnam’s energy initiatives, and said Malaysia is also implementing strategies to promote the use of renewable energy. The diplomat also affirmed Malaysia’s readiness to share experiences and support Vietnam in implementing renewable energy projects.
Both sides agreed to continue discussions, share experiences, and explore specific collaboration opportunities in the future.
