Vietnam Airlines adjusts operations at Lien Khuong airport from March

Vietnam Airlines will temporarily suspend all flights to and from Lien Khuong International Airport in Lam Dong province from March 4 to August 25, following the airport’s scheduled closure for runway and taxiway repairs.

During the closure, the national flag carrier will halt services to and from Lien Khuong and adjust its flight schedule to ensure passengers’ travel demand and maintain regional air connectivity.

The airline plans to increase frequencies on nearby routes linking Ho Chi Minh City with Buon Ma Thuot and Pleiku, as well as between Da Nang and Buon Ma Thuot, helping sustain connections between the Central Highlands, the south-central region and major economic hubs.

Passengers holding tickets for flights to and from Lam Dong via Lien Khuong during the affected period are entitled to one free change of travel date or itinerary. Fare differences, taxes or fees, if any, will be applied in accordance with the carrier’s regulations. Refunds for tickets and ancillary services are also available free of charge. The support policy is valid until August 31.

Vietnam Airlines advised passengers to regularly update flight information and contact its branches, ticket offices, authorised agents or customer service hotline for assistance. The carrier said it will coordinate closely with relevant authorities to resume operations once the airport reopens.
